Akbar Allahabadi





The great name in the history of Urdu Poetry; Syed Akbar Hussain Rizvi, popularly known as Akbar Allahabadi was an Indian Urdu poet, widely acknowledged as a master of satire. Akbar Allahabadi was born on 16th November 1846 in the town of Bara, eleven miles from Allahabad and he was diet on 15th February 1921 in Allahabad. He was a judge by profession. Akbar’s bitingly humorous and brilliant satirical verses developed strong directions for the rest of the peoples.


Josh Malihabadi





The real name of Josh Malihabadi was Shabbir Hassan Khan, and he was born on 5th December 1898 in Malihabad (India) and died on 22th February 1982 in Islamabad, Pakistan.

Josh Malihabadi, popularly known as Shayar-e-Inquilab is regarded as one of the finest Urdu poets of the era of British India. He is considered top in the list of Urdu literature; who use thousands of high sounding rich words in his poetry. Malihabadi produced a huge material in poetry.

Mir Taqi Mir


Mir Taqi Mir was born on 1722 in Agrah and died on 1808 in Lacknow in 1808. His real name was Muhammad Taqi and takhlus was Mir.



Muhammd Taqi, Mir Taqi Mir was a leading Urdu poet of the 18th century Mughal India, and one of the pioneers who gave shape to the Urdu language itself. He was one of the principal poets of the Delhi School of the Urdu ghazals and is often remembered as one of the best poets of the Urdu language. He is the poet of every time, because he got appreciation for his Urdu poetry equally all the time, till now. Mir Taqi is a great name in the foundation and innovation of Urdu Poetry.

Mirza Ghalib


Asadullah Baig Khan Ghalib, short name Mirza Ghalib was born on 27th December 1797 and died on 15th February 1869. Mirza was a prominent Urdu and Persian poet during the last years of the Mughal Empire. He used his pen-names of Ghalib and Asad. His honorific was Dabir-ul-Mulk, Najm-ud-Daula.



Mirza Ghalib was the last great poet of the Mughal Era. He is considered to be one of the most famous and influential poets of the Urdu and Persian languages. Ghalib wrote several ghazals during his life, which have since been interpreted and sung in many different ways by different people.
